A twitch in my hand or a tingle in my toes

what happens next nobody knows.

Sometimes we can't remember what we want to say

but we have to carry on from day to day.

The pain we all endure is hard to comprehend

and all we can do is pray for a cure to make the pain end.

Fear of the unknown is always there

and the feelings that some people just don't care.

People can't see what we feel

and some even say it's not even real.

The sadness comes and strangles your heart

and makes the next day hard to start.

But don't give up hope there's always tomorrow

and don't give in to the heartache and sorrow.

We have to believe there's an end in sight

and for our health we'll continue to fight.
