Muff aka Terri is also donating mucho time in chat with us. She has much information on obtaining medical  and general financial support. She also has a wide range of information regarding general disability issues. Just ask and she helps!  Thank You Muff!

PS - If you see Muff in chat, with an "AFK" next to her name, it just means she is "Away From Keyboard" but will probably be right back.  So sit down, say Hi, and have a sip of tea......

Every week we'll be adding new link sightings which may be of interest, as reported by our visitors.  This will highlight new links you may want to investigate, before they disappear into the obscurity of some huge link listing.  If you come across any site which you think may be of interest, please e-mail us PWMS@PeopleWithMS.com with the site address and a brief description of what you found interesting on the site.  We'll include it in the next Newsletter.

Immune system cause of multiple sclerosis questioned Annals of Neurology / Mult-Sclerosis.org PWMS 3/18/04
"Study shows evidence that myelin-producing cells die before there is any immune system activity"  Paul Jones, a principle of the respected Mult-Sclerosis.org site, has done an excellent job of translating a research paper in the Annals of Neurology into informed layman's English.   As he puts it; "Thus far, Barnett and Prineas's paper seems to have been met with a deafening silence which is why I decided to write this piece."  Paul's translation is worth a read.
