My name is Eddie, but I also answer to BCTourbus, ThirteenthAngel and Crazy Uncle Fatedealer. I am a 36 year old male from Fort Worth, TX with RR/MS I have two daughters, Lauren 16, and Peyton 14, that live with their mom and step-dad in Oregon. They are my pride and joy. I currently use Rebif three times a week. I highly recommend it over Avonex. I also take a tablespoon of Organic Sunflowerseed Oil. They have done vast studies on M.S. and nutrition and came up with nothing except one thing, Sunflower seed oil if 1 tablespoon full taken daily acts like a "flack-jacket" around the mylin coating of your nerves, so even if your meds don't completely stop an attack, at least your mylin is a little tougher to break through and do damage to the nerves right? I personally have been even minor attack free since I started taking it. I am an EX-jack- of- all- trades compugeek working back in resturant management. But I plan to start college again in Fall 2007 to attain an R.N. degree and go into Nursing. My musical tastes would be the Black Crowes, Chris Robinson and N.E.M., Johnny Cash, Govt Mule, Willie Nelson, C.O.C., Shooter Jennings, Grady, Zack Perry, Robert Randolph. I am also a strong proponent for the legalization of marijuana and petitioned hard for the medical legalization in 98-99 in Portland Oregon. Even though I currently do not partake of the sacred herb, I will always fight for its legalisation. I love and miss all of you my snowboarding amigos on Mt. Hood and my fellow neo-hippy friends in the drum jam at Mt. Tabor pub and Saturday Market. Ok, enough ranting. I had a nasty exasterbation while on avonex for 4 years before using the sunflowerseed oil that took out ALL motor function on the left side of my body. I recovered 97% in 4 months, blowing away my doctor and therapists. No this isnt tooting my own horn, this is saying to you, no matter what this diesease throws at you,…you CAN overcome ANYTHING! = ) You just have to believe it.. PS- Red and Deb are awesome folks so treat em right or you'll be dealing with my crazy arse,...can you dig it? I am also a “random†Room Administrator to help keep peace in this sacred PWMS chatroom in honor of our beloved “Muffâ€(Terri) and so we may actually HELP those who need support. If you don’t want advice or just want to be in a negative slump and give up on life on a daily basis. GO ELSEWHERE. Everyone that frequents here IS all about Positive Mental Attitude or is trying to make it to that. We have no time for the perpetually negative.
