Hi

I have R/R Multiple Sclerosis. I was dx in 1991. I have been taking Betaseron shots since 1997. My caretaker is my husband of nearly 39 years. I have two "children".  A daughter who is a police officer and a son who works for Wal-Mart. My son is a single parent, living with us with his 6 year old son, who is apple of our eye.

I still walk, although starting to use a cane more and more.

I worked 30 years as a secretary at local university. Would have worked 5 more for complete retirement benefits, but M.S. had different ideas. Do have to admit that this retirement gig is the greatest.

I make quilts, take classes, I call it my therapy. I give most of my quilts away.

I have Multiple Sclerosis, but I refuse to allow it to have me!
