Shortly after coming home with her I noticed that my left leg was going numb. It had lasted any where from a few hours to a few days. Not knowing why it was happening, I went to see the doctor. He said that the baby had put a lot of pressure on my leg and it would go away, just to give it time. So I did. After a while, I kept noticing that it would come back. Again a new visit to the doctors. After many tests I was just told it was nothing. Then I had our second child, a little boy, in August of 97. I had no problems while I was pregnant, but the day after he was born I couldn't walk or even get out of bed again. The doctors told me is was just the baby and give it a few days. Well, finally in 05 I was dx'ed with RRMS, woohoo ! Finally i wasn't just crazy anymore.. I had a relapse in the summer of 06 which has put me on wheels, and I am now considered a PPMS patient, I have tried just about everything there is and have even made myself a science project for MS... I do not work anymore. I was a Store manager for Target for 15 years. ( I do miss the Bullseye)..LOL.. I have no pitty for myself, for life is what it is, and MS does Not have ME!! My life has not ended, only begun. And I am proud of what life has blessed me with for I am only here to enjoy this life to the fullest.

Hello my name is Deanna. I live in Ohio with my 2 children.
I am 36. This is my MS story. It all started back in 1995. I had met my
now ex-husband, we were a young couple just starting out when I got
pregnant with our first child. In November of that year we were blessed
with a little girl.
