My story.....I'm a 27 yr. old female recently dx with MS. It was June 2009
when I was at work and noticed that my right toes started going numb, I thought
nothing about it..only that maybe my feet was just asleep. So I went on my merry
way, left to go to the hunting camp and noticed that the numbness had spread to
my other leg and were both slowly making their way in numbness up to my belly
button.. i was terrified and in so much pain because my knees were killing me. I
could barely walk. When they finally admitted me to the hospital I got an MRI
and they found several lesions on my brain and one on my spine. I was on 1,000mg
of steroids a day for a week. I finally was about to walk again after a week.
Since then, they took another MRI and saw even more lesions. I have my good days
and my bad days, most all people with MS do. I love life and am going to live it
to the best that I can. I will never take anything for granted for as long as I
live. My knees and legs still go numb if I get hot or if I walk too far, but it
usually goes away once I cool off. Hope this was of insight for some people,
feel free to ask any questions!! LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST AND AKE NOTHING FOR
GRANTED!! *It cold always be worse*
