Pita Hello my name is Pita,One of my closest and dearest pals is Aileen and she's been trying to get me to come to your chat room for years I think. I had some pretty awful things happen to me at MSWatch, some may have been deserved because I am a brutally honest person and I can come across as really mean but that was because the people that whined the most were the ones that weren't doing anything about their MS. Some refused to try ABCR"S because they were afraid of needles and injections. Well when these people whine about how bad they feel and how the ms hurts so much I had to remind them that they have to try something, you need meds but I was yelled at because I was mean. I understand fear of needles and injections, compromise with DR about any oral combo of meds that may help with ur MS.... That was the cycle at a lot of times, constant negativity and that's not the atmosphere an ms chat room should have. Sorry I rambled there... I swore off any disease that I have type of chat room....that was in 2006. Ail finally got me into chat last night (she kind of tricked me into it but I'll forgiver her). I had a wonderful time! I plan on coming back a lot. You have a lovely room full of people that are caring and humorous. I've already sent a short thing about myself and a pic I probably made it too long, tried not to go into a ton of detail. There's a lot of personal things I don't discuss. Some of the other medical issues I have I just don't want to talk about...it's only because discussing my own medical issues can actually depress me. I don't think about diagnoses, I just grin & bear it and face each day with a smile. I want to be known and remembered for who I am not what I have. Sorry I rambled. You have an awesome chat room, still need to poke around the site some more. Thank you for providing us a place to meet other MS'ers and caregivers and a place to chat, de-stress, get some support & make some friends. Thanks Again, ~Pita~ |
