Hi, my name is Robin I am 44 years old and I live in upstate New
York. I
have been married to a wonderful man named John for 27 years and I
have two
great children. A daughter Shannon who is 23, married to a
wonderful man
named Will and they gave us a beautiful grandaughter named Taylor
two years
ago. She is my inspiration to go on. I also have a handsome son
named John
and he is 21 years old. He works as a volunteer fireman and is a
auto
mechanic. I am so proud of my two kids, they love me and help me
as much as
they can. I was diagnosed with MS September 29, 2005. It really
wasn't
much of a shock to me because i figured on my own it was either
that or a
brain tumor. It was a long hard battle trying to find the doctor
that would
actually order the right tests and find out what was wrong with
me. It
seemed like all they ever told me was, you don't have this and you don't have
that. I was starting to think I was going crazy. I knew there
was
something definitely wrong with me cause I could hardly walk and
my hands
and feet were so numb all the time. Before I found out I had MS
my husband
and I were really starting to fight a lot. I felt like he didn't
believe me
and everyone was thinking I was just being lazy and not wanting to
do
anything. I was just so weak all the time and tired. But the day
we were
told everything changed and for the first time I saw my big strong
man
crumble, it hurt so bad to watch him cry. He loves me so much and
we are
going to renew our wedding vows this year. He gives me my Betaseron shots
and he is truly my life line. A few pictures of me and my family follow. . . click
