 My name is Roni Lynn Lovelace
(aka. Sally) .. Mother of 4 Children & 1 Angel in
Heaven( My Beloved Joel David ) .. Having had a partial hysterectomy in
1997 i was told that in a year or so I'd Start going thro my Change of life ...
So In 1999 when I was experiencing several abnormal things in my body , I
figured wow It's started ... Constantly Tired to the point I
had to sleep all day long in order to have the energy to go to work .. I
couldn't see out of one of my eyes one I went to the Eye Doctor , And he
asked If I Had A Diease I said No .. He Kept Me off Work for a couple days
. I later learned it was Optic Neuritis . I continue to work having
problems with My Menory , forgetting things that I had Known for years &
having to be reminded daily ...Stumbling & falling over things on a regular
basis! Numb tingling in my face .. so I went back to the Doctor & he Started
a series of Blood Work to establish weither it was my change or not .. this
Continued for Approx. 1 1/2 years .. I was so frustrated because there was no
sign of this .I then changed Dr.'s and I was Treated With a variety of well
wishes and told to drink protein drinks ! After about 6-8 months of this and
Nothing Was changing but only getting worst.. I left & then In was in Aug.
2002 I couldn't go to work so many things & no answers , I made an
appointment with another Doctor .. As he came into the room I proceeded to fall
Apart and tell him I thought I was Crazy , cuz I had been under Doctor
care for so long & nothing seemed to be wrong .. He looked at me and said
You are not Crazy and We Will find out what's going on with you .. After Several
Tests , Blood work , EEG & then An MRI .. I had my Results ... He Said
I can't Tell You officially because I'm not a Neurologist but you do have MS ,
Wow I thought the World Stopped .. No Way .. Not Me .. He made an Appointment
with a Neurologist , after he performed a Spinial It Was Definate .. He
told me I have MS and But me on Rebif Injections .. I was on
Rebif from October 2002 -Nov. 2004 . And I stopped .. Rebif did
not work for me as it doesn't for all people and I was Sicker on so I figured If
there Is no Cure for MS , Then I'll at least have a better quality of life ( Or
so I thought ) Since that time I have gone to 2 other neuro's ... Last Nov. 2oo9
was on Nothing for my MS .. I Came To People With MS , And As I Listened Asked
Question's & Researched I was so then Ready To Take my Life Back !!
Set Up an Appointment at A Well Known Neuro In Lower Michigan ( I Live In
Northern Michigan )This is my 4th Neuro And Hopefully my last ,He Reviewed
My MRI's & Performed His Own .. Put Me On Copaxone In Aug. of 2010.. I had
an Appointment as of last week , no Severe Reaction's & so I'll continue on
Copaxone .. I'm Ever So Very Greatful For People With MS , As My Life Is Being
Re-Gained Thro The Love & Support I've Received .. Making Me A Better Mother
& Woman I do still walk So I'm Very Thankful for this Fact ... And
Have A Message To Convey , Education Is Sooo Very Much Needed & That People
In this World will Understand !! Knowing Is Half The Battle .... To Be
Continued !! Warm Wishes To All For The Very Best You Can Be ......
